2K have announced that although Thierry Henry has retired from the football scene, you’ll be able to play as him in NBA 2K17!

Thierry Henry will be a regular during home games of the San Antonio Spurs, and in the game’s Blacktop Mode (where you can play a whole different range of basketball games, from 1v1 to 5v5), he’ll be totally playable.
“Being a basketball and NBA fan since I was a kid, I’m honoured to be the first football player ever to be playable in NBA 2K17,” Thierry Henry said. “Seeing myself go toe to toe with the legends of the sport is an amazing feeling.
NBA 2K17 will be out on September 16, 2016.
