Get ready for more courtroom battling with the Wright Anything Agency. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice is out now for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.

In this new installment of the procedural drama series, Phoenix Wright travels to the Kingdom of Khura’in while Apollo Justice holds things down back in the States. The rest of the gang lend their expertise on both sides of the pond, including Athena Cykes, Maya Fey, and Ema Skye.

In Khura’in, Phoenix takes part in mysterious trials that open up new opportunities for clue gathering. A gameplay mechanic called the Divination Séance allows you to revisit the last moments of a victim’s life and point out discrepancies between what you find and the Insight of Wright’s new opponent, Royal Priestess Rayfa.

Meanwhile, Apollo has his own challenges to contend with at the Wright Anything Agency as players use the 3DS touch features to explore crime scenes, dust for fingerprints, and more.

You can purchase Spirit of Justice on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99. Purchasing the game within its first week of release gets you a free character costume pack including a Furio Tigre look for Phoenix, a school uniform for Apollo, and frilly waitress attire from French restaurant Trés Bien for Athena. After September 14, the costume pack will be available to purchase for $0.99 / £0.89 / €0.99.

Look forward to new cases each week, with DLC releasing every Thursday through the end of September. The DLC will come in the form of two short stories, each bundled with a unique pixel art Nintendo 3DS theme, followed by a full-length extra episode titled “Turnabout Time Traveler.”
