Square Enix has released an extended trailer for Kingdom Hearts 2.8 from the PlayStation Press Conference in Japan. The trailer features new footage from Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage, Kingdom Hearts X[chi] Back Cover, and Kingdom Hearts HD Dream Drop Distance!
Alongside the trailer it was also announced that the game would see a release of January 12, 2017 in Japan. Meaning it’s now slipped from it’s initial December 2016 release window.
Kingdom Hearts 2.8 will launch exclusively on PlayStation 4, we’ll be sure to keep you updated when a Western launch date gets announced.
