If you reckon you’re a bit handy with a camera and can put together a short movie, then Ubisoft has a pretty tasty contest that you might be interested in.
Ahead of the game’s release on November 15, Ubisoft is challenging the community to put together short films that focus on the theme of “Hacking Heroes”. Involving a smartphone in some regard, the film must be between 5 seconds and 5 minutes.
The full details are on this site, but there are two key points worthy of your attention.
First, the judging panel. Louis Letterier, famous for directing The Transporter, The Incredible Hulk and Now You See Me, will lead as Jury President. Alongside Louis is Jonathin Morin, Creative Director of Ubisoft Montreal. They’ll also be joined by eight YouTubers who’ll form the influencer portion of the panel.
This Jury will decide on a total of ten winners for the following prizes:
· Grand Jury prize: €50,000 cash & 2 tickets for Assassin’s Creed movie premiere
· Jury “Coup de Coeur†€10,000 cash, 2 tickets for Assassin’s Creed movie premiere, a PS4®Pro, the Watch_Dogs 2 – The Return of Dedsec Collector’s Case and, one Parrot Bebop 2.
· Influencer prize: one Watch Dogs 2 PlayStation 4 Bundle, one Parrot Bebop 2 and one Parrot Jumping Sumo, per content creator.
The public will also have a say in delivering this prize:
· Public vote prize: 5 000€ cash, one Watch Dogs 2 PlayStation 4 Bundle, one Parrot Bebop 2 and one Parrot Jumping Sumo.
Not bad for a few day’s work, right?
