Asking “What do you get when you mix Dishonored and some cool tunes all the way from Europe,” sounds like the start of a bad knock knock joke, but not this time! Five Dutch DJs have gotten together to remix Dishonored 2’s soundtrack, and the result is eerie and pretty damn cool.

Digital Punk, BLOQSHOT, Jordy Dazz, Vato Gonzalez and Zany have joined up with Bethesda Benelux, and have redone five tracks from the recently released game.

Digital Punk (Rene de Bruijn) has put his own spin on Dishonored 2’s main theme: “I grew up with 2 things in life. Gaming and music. When I was asked for a remix of Dishonored 2 by Bethesda I couldn’t be happier! Super proud of the result!”.

Then you’ve got DJ Zany (Raoul van Grinsven), who has turned the song “Darkness,” into a bouncy, fun remix. “This campaign combines the two things I love most: music and games”, said DJ Zany when commenting on the collaboration.

Next up is Vato Gonzalez (Björn Franken), who also took on the challenge of the main theme, with a unique dirty house makeover – his signature style. “The only thing more satisfying than throwing unsuspecting NPC’s into a wall of light, was to remix the score of Dishonored 2 and throw my audience into a wall of sound.”

Upcoming trap DJ, BLOQSHOT (Arjan Terpstra) also added his own twist to the game’s score: “As a fulltime nerd I love both the game and its soundtrack. This was a great opportunity to bring different styles and genres together!”

Finally, we have Jordy Dazz (Jordy van Oostveen), who was asked to join to get the most out of popular EDM styles, and redid the theme song, turning it into a techno track. “As a fan of games and scoring-music, it’s such a great thing to have worked together with Bethesda doing something creative with both elements.”
