Square Enix has released a playable demo for the upcoming PlatinumGames developed action-RPG NieR: Automata. The free playable demo takes players to an abandoned factory, following android 2B’s mission to destroy a massive enemy weapon that lies within.
In addition, a new trailer was also released showcasing some iconic weapons in action – with 2B wielding Noctis’ Engine Blade from Final Fantasy XV as well as the Cypress Stick from the Dragon Quest series.
A limited “Black Box Edition†is also available to pre-order now. The coveted Black Box Edition will be available in limited quantities from the Square Enix Online Store. Housed within a sleek black Collector’s Edition box, the Black Box Edition will include Android 2B Figurine, Artbook, soundtrack and a selection of bonus DLC content.
NieR: Automata will be available in Europe on 10th March 2017 for the PS4.
