Konami has announced that the second season of PES 2017’s Road to Cardiff has opened up for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 players.
The latest round of competition will run from February 23 to March 23 2017, as competitors attempt to reach one of the coveted last-16 spots. Whilst the first season of Road to Cardiff held its last-16 tie at Barcelona’s Nou Camp, the second season’s last-16 tie will be held at Liverpool’s hallowed ground Anfield.
The finals of the competition will be held in – you guessed it – Cardiff, during the UEFA Champions League Final on June 3. The winner of the entire competition will receive £200,000, whilst second and third placed players of the final will receive £100,000 and £50,000. On top of that, the winner of the regional second season will win £20,000.
