Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that a sequel to the critically acclaimed Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor, will be released in August 2017:
It’ll also be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, so if you purchase a digital version from either the Xbox Store or Windows Store, you will automatically have access to the game on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC at launch – and for Project Scorpio when it comes out later this year – at no additional cost. You’ll be able to save your progress, including DLC, Gamerscore and Achievements to their Xbox Live cloud-synced player profiles, so you can pick up where you left off on another Xbox One or Windows 10 PC.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War will release August 22, 2017 in the Americas.
