Ahead of tomorrow’s launch of the Nintendo Switch on Friday, we’ve just noticed that the well touted Parental Control apps have started to make their way to app stores.

From previous news on the app when the Switch was revealed, the app is a welcome surprise in delivering quality features in ensuring good supervision of the games that your children play.

Once you’ve set timers on your app, the Switch will pop a notification up on the console when time is up, or if you’re feeling like being a bit more assertive you can instruct the Switch to stop gameplay once time is up.

The app can also pick up what your child’s favourite games are based on frequency of play, as well as setting the usual parameters with regards to age ratings of games.
