Capcom have announced that six Disney games will have remastered releases in one package for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on April 18.
The Disney Afternoon Collection will include The Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers and the sequel, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, DuckTales 2, and the run and gun TaleSpin.
Each game will be given the full high definition treatment, though if you want to relive the games in all their grainy goodness, there will be an option to filter the games to their original quality.
New features will also be introduced, with the “Boss Rush†option challenging players to take on a game’s bosses consecutively. Also included will be the “Time Attack†option that introduces a competitive speed-run aspect to the titles. Online leaderboards will be used to track players with the fastest time.
Whilst the announcement may not be the most exciting news, the impending arrival of the Disney Collection offers players young and old an opportunity to replay some iconic titles from the 90’s – except Chip ‘n Dale – I hated that game.
