SEGA hosted a panel at SXSW that revealed the latest updates surrounding Sonic Mania & Project Sonic 2017!

Sonic Mania highlights include key art reveal, a brand new zone teaser and also revealed was the Classic Sonic Zone, Flying Battery, which will be a reimagined zone featured in the game. Sega also revealed Sonic has now been delayed to Summer 2017.

Sonic is back in full FORCE! We can now reveal Project Sonic 2017’s official title, Sonic Forces! A 30 second gameplay footage clip was shown during the presentation featuring an action-packed look at Modern Sonic in a destroyed city environment which can be found above.

Sonic Mania will be available this Summer for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC while Sonic Forces will be available this Holiday for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. The Collector’s Edition of Sonic Mania is currently available for pre-order exclusively from Amazon in Europe.
