Playground Games has detailed the next Forza Horizon 3 expansion and boy is it a doozy! Dubbed Hot Wheels, it is exactly what it is: Hot Wheels designed vehicles are coming to the latest entry in the Horizon franchise.

And who says Hot Wheels, also means crazy tracks. The expansion will also include a brand-new location in Australia where roads are replaced by insane high-speed stunts, just like you’d remember from your childhood (for us older gamers). The location consists of six new themed islands connected by a network of Hot Wheels-like tracks. The add-on will also feature a fun Stunt Swap feature that will let players modify stunt track sections. Gamerscore junkies will be happy to know that the expansion adds 28 new achievements worth 500 Gamerscore.

On May 8th, Playground Games will livestream the debut of the Hot Wheels expansion on the Forza Horizon Beam channel.

Here’s a handy list of the Hot Wheels cars coming in the add-on:

  • 1969 Hot Wheels Twin Mill
  • 2011 Hot Wheels Bone Shaker
  • 2012 Hot Wheels Rip Rod
  • 2005 Hot Wheels Ford Mustang
  • 2016 Jeep Trailcat
  • 2016 Zenvo ST1
  • 2007 Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38
  • 2010 Pagani Zonda R
  • 1972 Chrysler VH Valiant Charger R/T E49

Alongside the expansion, developer Playground Games also confirmed an update for the Windows 10 version of Forza Horizon 3. The update will include significant improvements such as improved CPU performance, additional graphical options, among other nifty ameliorations.

Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels arrives on May 9 on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. It is available via the Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass or as a standalone purchase for $19.99.
