Rockstar have released a statement explaining that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be delayed until spring 2018.

The sequel to Rockstar’s smash hit Red Dead Redemption was initially scheduled for a November release this year, but the developers feel that there’s still a lot of work to be done. In the statement, Rockstar explained that Red Dead 2 would be the “the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans.”

In an attempt to soften the blow, Rockstar have released some new screenshots for the game, so now we can see more of what we have to wait even longer to play… I’m just playing Rockstar, you know I love you.
