After being revealed for a Japanese release during last week’s E3, Bandai Namco has announced it plans to bring .hack//G.U. Last Recode to North America and Europe.
.hack//G.U. Last Recode is a remastered trilogy of the PS2 series .hack//G.U.. The game will be available for PC and PS4. This re-edition will feature all three chapters (Rebirth, Reminisce and Redemption) in 1080p with 16:9 widescreen picture, 60 fps frame rate, gameplay balance changes; among other features to be revealed in coming months leading up to the release.
The remastered trilogy will feature an enhanced battle balance and game pacing along with a new Cheat Mode allowing players who want to just enjoy the story to start the game with full stats.

.hack//G.U. begins after the events of the original .hack series with players assuming the role of Haseo as he tracks down a powerful Player Killer named Tri-Edge who killed his friend’s in-game avatar Shino, and put her in a coma in real life.
.hack//G.U. Last Recode will release for PC and PS4 (physical and digital) later this year.
