This year’s Golden Joystick Awards will take place at Bloomsbury Big Top in London, on November 17 and will see the return of comedian, Danny Wallace as host.

2017 marks the event’s 35th year of celebrating the games industry and returns with over 25 award categories, voted for by YOU. This year will see the return of ‘Best Multiplayer Game’, ‘Game of the Year’ and ‘Most Wanted Game’ and will include new awards for 2017.

Some key dates to watch out for:

  • The Golden Joystick Award Categories and Shortlist will be announced on September 21, with public voting commencing that night. – The public vote will close on November 3.
  • The Awards will take place on November 17, at the Bloomsbury Big Top, with the whole event being live streamed on Twitch.

The Golden Joysticks are the world’s largest publicly voted gaming awards with last year’s event receiving a record 9 million global votes.
