Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, and The LEGO Group have announced today that The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game will be available in the UK this October.
You’ll get even more non stop action and fun than from the film itself, which releases in cinemas this week. You’ll be able to battle their way through waves of enemies with honour and skill, as your favourite Ninjago heroes – Lloyd, Nya, Jay, Kai, Cole, Zane, and Master Wu – to defend Ninjago Island from Lord Garmadon and his Shark Army.
The action is frantic and fast paced - master the art of Ninja-gility by running on walls, high-jumping, and battling foes of Ninjago to rank up and upgrade the ninja’s combat skills, and traverse across Ninjago Island in style with parkour moves. The new combat moves include Rushing Boar, a dash attack to bridge the gap between characters, Floating Butterfly, a jump lunge attack that allows the ninja to leap and attack from above, Swooping Hawk, a jump slam attack, and Stinging Bee, a flurry of very fast strikes.
You’ll also be able make your characters master the art of Spinjitzu – battling their way through waves of enemies with new combat techniques, manoeuvres, and skills. As well as that, there’s elemental powers and upgradeable weapons unique to each Ninja. Players can combine all of them through the game for devastating customisation.
This game will feature eight large, open locations based on the movie’s story, as well as iconic locations and characters from the LEGO Ninjago TV series. From Ninjago City to the jungles of Ninjago Island, each location includes a host of hidden secrets to collect, as well as its own unique Challenge Dojo where players can put their combat skills to the test, earning high scores and battle increasingly tougher enemies. In addition, the game features Battle Maps that allow players to go up against their friends and family in three different game modes with competitive split-screen local gameplay for up to four players.
The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game will be available on October 6, 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One, October 13, 2017 for Steam, and October 20, 2017 for Nintendo Switch.
