Star Ocean: The Last Hope, the prequel to the Star Ocean series, has received a full remaster with 4K support and is heading to the PlayStation 4 and Steam on November 28, 2017.
Originally released in 2009, fans will be pleased to learn that the remastered game keeps the original Item Creation System and Private Action system that explores character relationships and subplots, as well as the Blindside battle system, which fuses evasion and offense.
PlayStation Plus members and Steam users who purchase the game before December 12 will receive a 10% discount. Additionally, PlayStation 4 players will receive a free theme and avatars, while Steam users will get an exclusive mini soundtrack if purchased within this time.
Star Ocean: The Last Hope is the latest in the list of Square Enix titles to receive a high-def upgrade – the most recent being Final Fantasy 9, which was released on the PlayStation Store last month.
