Also those five people with 4K televisions and an Xbox One X will also get better shadows

The much-loved Clockwork City DLC for Elder Scrolls Online is finally making it’s way onto PS4 and Xbox One after making waves on PC. If you haven’t seen much of what the expansion has to offer take a look at the trailer below.

The expansion, which will be free for ESO Plus players to download – or cost 2,000 in-game crowns, is followed by the free update 16. The update will bring in some gameplay fixes and other boring but important stuff; though the real bit of fun comes in the shape of the new mode Crazy King. This new mode has players fighting among themselves to capture a location that springs up randomly throughout the map.

Those of you lucky enough to get your hands on an Xbox One X will also be pleased to know that the optimisations are already in place for players to play in 4K and true HDR (instead of that bloody fake HDR), along with better draw distances and even better shadows – I know right!?

The Clockwork City DLC is available now on PS4 and Xbox One, you’ll be able to download the Xbox One X optimisation update by checking for the latest updates.
