To blend seamlessly with the recent release of Monster Hunter: World, the developers of the game have released a wonderful video, detailing how the design on Monster Hunter first started, from the concepts and art, to how they wanted to incorporate the monster hunter ‘feel’ into their creation.
This is the first in an intended series of weekly videos catching the development process in action; from concept to finished product. Featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, Executive Director/Art Director Kaname Fujioka and Director Yuya Tokuda, the first episode in the series examines how the project started and what inspired the vision behind bringing Monster Hunter: World to life on home consoles.
So, if you’re interested in all things Monster Hunter, or would like to know what’s going on in the background, and see how your favourite games are created, then this is a very interesting watch.
Monster Hunter: World is out now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
