EXOR Studios has announced the first DLC for X-Morph: Defense, European Assault, as well as simultaneously adding a Survival Mode via a free update. Both are set to go live on PC on March 26, ‘closely followed’ by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The DLC, European Assault will add a mini-campaign that runs parallel to the main story, taking you to Finland and Holland and culminating in a showdown at the Eiffel Tower in France.

In addition to the DLC, a new Survival Mode will be added to the game, featuring ten new levels of endless gameplay and a new leaderboard system that is hoped to encourage fierce competition.

With a focus on rapid fire decision making, players must adapt quickly to the destructible environment in a bid to defend their cores against a never-ending onslaught of incoming enemies.

PC gamers can take an early look at two levels of the Survival Mode via the Open Beta which is available now, via Steam.

X-Morph: Defense is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
