Bandai Namco is working with CD Projekt Red to bring Geralt of Rivia to Soul Calibur VI. The Witcher series’ protagonist is one of the deadliest monster slayers known to man and will make a fearsome addition to the Soul Calibur cast.

Geralt’s signature fighting style will incorporate swordplay, potions, and magic to overpower his foes. Players will also be able to fight in Kaer Morhen, the keep where witchers were trained. Music from The Witcher 3 soundtrack will also be featured and Doug Cockle, the English voice of Geralt, will make an appearance.

“Soul Calibur is well known in the fighting games genre for including iconic guest characters. When we were approached with the idea of doing a crossover, we thought our community would really enjoy playing as the witcher,” said Marcin Momot, Community Lead at CD Projekt Red. “I think Bandai Namco did an outstanding job of capturing all the details and introducing The Witcher to Soul Calibur in a way fans of both series will enjoy.”

Soul Calibur VI will be released in 2018 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
