Funcom has today officially launched its open-world survival game Conan Exiles, and to celebrate the launch we have also been gifted a new trailer that showcases some of the added features since it first appeared in ‘Early Access’ some time ago.

Currently boasting over one million copies sold and 20,000 concurrent players on Steam alone, Conan Exiles is now launching fully on PC and Console after a good stint in early access. The game has changed quite a bit since it first launched, and although touted jokingly as the ‘Dong Simulator’ it now has two huge new zones to explore and also updated combat mechanics.

“Conan Exiles is already one of the most successful titles in Funcom’s 25-year history. This has been a great experience for us. When I look at the incredible journey the game has gone through in just 15 months of Early Access as well as the very positive development in player reviews over the past few months, I feel confident that we’ve been successful in what we set out to do. I’m very proud of the amazing work everyone on the team has done.” said Funcom CEO Rui Casais.

Conan Exiles is an open world survival game set in the savage lands of Conan the Barbarian a fictional character created by Robert E. Howard. Players must survive in a brutal world, build a home, or join forces with others in a multiplayer experience and forge a barbarian kingdom, and dominate the wilderness or other players in mortal combat.

Conan Exiles is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
