Each week we’ll give you the low-down on the games that have been keeping the GGS Gamer staff busy on their consoles, PCs and handhelds.
Here’s what we’ve been playing this week …
Jay
- Detroit: Become Human (PS4) – I didn’t think I’d be playing this game anytime soon as I was more interested in getting my second chance at Dark Souls with the remaster, but I got invited to my friends’ house to see them. During my stay they wanted to show me Detroit so we could discuss it and my god this game is a rollercoaster ride if you’re indecisive like me and you can’t decide which way you want your characters to go but somehow the three lead characters made it out alive for me.
- Dark Souls Remastered (PS4) – Still killing and being killed.
Dan
- Persona 4 Golden (Vita) – Comfort gaming at its best. Working on havng all characters on level 99.
- Far Cry 4 (PS4) – Was debating between this and replay Far Cry 5; enjoying it but not as much as FC5; the driving sucks.
Sarah H
- Elder Scrolls Online (PC) – I started the Dark Brotherhood quest line this week, and I really love how they translated the Blade of Woe into an MMO. My Wood Elf has been doing nothing but crouching and assassinating NPCs ever since.
- League of Legends (PC) – Butcher’s Bridge is a cool new take on their ARAM mode, and I’m really enjoying that everything is pirate-themed for Pyke’s release (the new music during champion select is AMAZING.)
John
- Vampyr (PS4) – I ended up having to play this more than anything else for the review, and whilst the game has some good ideas, the vanilla combat has really put me off going back to the game – at least for a while.
- Quake Champions (PC) – To celebrate getting my very first gaming laptop, I downloaded this to see whether my machine could handle it. And bloody hell, FPS games on a PC really are a whole different entity. I was trying to keep up with the others around me, but playing with a touchpad probably isn’t a great idea… so much to learn.
Sarah
- Bless Online (PC) – Despite a really rocky start I’m still playing this. It’s definitely one of the best looking MMOs I’ve played in a while. And the character customisation is amazing!
- World of Warcraft (PC) – Did a couple of levels on the warlock, though I’m feeling like I’ll probably main my warrior in BfA.
How about you?
