Feral Interactive have announced the upcoming release of Tropico for iPad devices. The strategic city builder and humorous dictator sim will be available for Apple’s tablets later this year. This version of Tropico has been developed by Feral Interactive and will be available as a premium game out of the gate, without any in-app purchases.

Those who are new to the Tropico series, here’s a quick introduction of the premise of this city building sim:

As El Presidente, leader of the resource-rich Caribbean island nation of Tropico, players will build their island’s infrastructure and manage its economy while balancing the demands of its numerous political factions. By directing every aspect of island life, players can transform Tropico into an industrial metropolis, a vacation paradise, a police state, or all three!

Considering as its been redesigned for tablet devices, Tropico will have a user friendly interface with intuitive touch controls and easy to navigate menus for a an enjoyable experience on the go.
