Let’s walk and talk

Welcome back to another Community Q! The time of the week when we flip the tables and ask for your opinion on a different topic. This time around, we want to look at something that’s begun to dominate the whole games industry in recent weeks. So, take a look at our question, mull it over a bit, and let us know what you think!

Community Q: Do parents need to pay more attention to the age ratings of games?

With Fortnite’s ever-growing influence and that fact that it seems to be playable on literally anything, we’ve seen a surge of stories starring terrified parents who are worried their children are becoming addicted. Of course, this topic isn’t just limited to Fortnite, we’ve seen stories surrounding Doki Doki Literature Club, and there’s an entire history of fears surrounding the games we play.

But we want to know; do you think parents need to pay a little more attention to the games their children play? Whether it’s considering the age rating, looking at the themes of the games or just seeing what the game is like to actually play. Let us know what you think in the comments below or on Twitter @ggsgamer.
