You may be wondering where John is this week – he was unable to make it due to becoming horrifically addicted to World of Warcraft. Okay, so that’s a lie but it is remarkably coincidental that it ties in with this week’s question!
With the launch of World of Warcraft’s latest expansion, Battle for Azeroth, less than two weeks away, Blizzard have released a new Warbringers cinematic, showing Sylvanas Windrunner’s part in the upcoming conflict, provoking much discussion as well as dismaying a lot of fans.
While World of Warcraft, in particular, has a long, lore-rich history, it goes without saying that story and lore plays a huge part in a lot of games, even some that may not be so obviously story-driven (hello Bloodborne!).
