EA has confirmed that Fifa 19 will have a demo release next week, starting on September 13. The demo will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

There’s no word yet about what will be on offer with the demo, but it seems likely that those funky exhibition modes we heard about a while ago won’t be included or they’ll be limited to one or two.

If the last few iterations of the series is anything to go by, we should get a brief look at what’s coming up in this year’s The Journey. And it seems likely that the demo will make the most of its new UEFA partnership by including a Champion’s League and Europa league fixture, which should mean we’ll get a pretty mixed bag of teams as with previous demos.

Fifa 19 will be released on September 28, offering up new game modes and the final part of Alex Hunter’s Journey mode.
