Expected in 2019.

Bigben and Eko Software are showing off their action-RPG, Warhammer: Chaosbane’s gameplay in a new trailer, complete with director’s commentary.

Set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles universe, the trailer shows off two of the four playable characters; Konrad Vollen, Captain of the Empire, a tanky-looking melee class and Elontir, a high elf mage, more suited to ranged combat. We get a glimpse of the unique playstyles of both classes and how they complement one another in local co-op play.

The unique mechanic, bloodlust is also shown in the trailer, to help take down a boss-type enemy; bloodlust is an ability that grants speed and additional powers – the duration and number of additional skills will be based on your Bloodlust level.

The first Action-RPG to take place in the world of Warhammer Fantasy Battles, Warhammer: Chaosbane invites the player to plunge into the heart of the Old World, still marked by the Great War against Chaos – a bloody conflict which took place some time before.

Warhammer: Chaosbane is currently under development and will be arriving on PC and consoles in 2019.
