With the reveal of The Escapists: Complete Edition last month, many of us were left wondering how long we’d have to wait until we got hold of the game, but wonder no more! because it’ll be arriving on the Switch on September 25.
Being the complete edition, The Escapists will come with all the original prisons from the game along with nine prisons that were released as DLC. These bonus maps include the likes of Alcatraz and Santa’s Sweatshop, but you won’t be getting the Walking Dead game in there – sorry! But don’t let that get you down, the Switch edition will come with the first console appearance of the Fhurst Peak map, which had only been a PC exclusive before now.
If you haven’t played the game yet, The Escapists sees you – unnamed prisoner – plopped down in ever increasingly difficult prisons, where you’ll get yourself a job, beat up some fellow inmates, or start a riot in the hopes of… well, escaping.
You’ll be able to pick up a copy of The Escapists: Complete Edition for just £10/$15 when it arrives on the Switch September 25.
