Size doesn’t matter.
Sony has announced that the PlayStation Classic will be arriving on December 3. The mini console arrives on the back of Nintendo’s success with both the Mini NES and SNES in the last couple of years.
The PlayStation Classic will come with 20 pre-loaded games; only five have been announced so far with Ridge Racer, Tekken, Jumping Flash, Wild Arms, and Final Fantasy 7 – which has itself just been announced to arrive on both the Switch and Xbox alongside a collection of other Final Fantasy titles. There’s no word yet as to what the other 15 games will be, but expect a steady stream of reveals as we inch closer to the release date.
The Classic will come included with two controllers but similar to the Mini SNES, there won’t be any power cable supplied with the console. And don’t expect a bargain either, the PlayStation Classic is set to cost you £90/$100 so it might not be the stocking filler you were hoping for when Christmas rolls around.
What do you think? Do the games justify the price or are you waiting to see what else is included before you pay out? Let us know in the comments below!
