Releases in February.
Spike Chunsoft has announced that Steins;Gate Elite will be arriving on the PlayStation 4 and Switch on February 19, 2019.
Bonus games will also be available for each version, with PlayStation 4 owners getting ‘Steins;Gate: Linear Bounded Phenogram,’ while the Switch version gets ‘8-Bit ADV Steins;Gate.’ These bonus games are available with all purchases.
Steins;Gate Elite is a remaster of Steins;Gate, a visual novel that was originally released in 2009. Featuring scenes from the anime, the game follows a young group who discover that they can change the past via email, using “a modified microwave.” As with most stories that meddle in changing timelines, things get a little messy as they find themselves entangled in conspiracy. It looks like Steins;Gate Elite is also heading to PC, via Steam, though it’s unclear if this will at the same time as the console versions.
Steins;Gate Elite is set for release on February 19, 2019.
