Skrillex Collaborates on Kingdom Hearts 3 Opening Theme

Kingdom Hearts 3 goes Wub-Wub.

A long-time self-professed fan of the Kingdom Hearts series, DJ and Music guru Skrillex is collaborating with singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada to create the new opening theme tune for Kingdom Hearts 3. Titled â€œFace My Fearsâ€, this original track will be released on January 18, 2019.

Thanks to a press release from Square Enix and Disney, we can confirm that Skrillex originally intended to remix the previously revealed Hikaru Utada track, “Donâ€™t Think Twice”, however owing to the pairâ€™s friendship, this developed into the new and original collaboration “Face My Fears” instead.

Whether or not the theme tune will contain any dubstep flair, we just don’t know and will have to wait and see.
