Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive have announced a brand new 1-versus-1 online game mode for the upcoming Hitman 2: Ghost Mode.
Ghost mode allows two players to go head-to-head in order to assassinate the most targets in a match. Both players will start a round next to each other and they will race to take out the same targets faster and cleaner than the other player. The Ghost Mode also makes good use of the same weapons, items and outfits found in the single player game.
Much like racers where players see a ghost version of their opponent, the same will apply for Ghost Mode. If your opponent is in the same area as you, you’ll see a ghost version of them. The first player to kill five targets win.
Unfortunately, don’t expect Ghost Mode to be fully available right out the gate on Day 1. When Hitman 2 launches, Ghost Mode will only be available to play in the Miami location. IO Interactive will add the mode to additional locations post-launch.
Hitman 2 will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 13 2018.
