The devil is in the details.
We knew that Diablo 3: Eternal Collection would be heading to Switch before the end of the year and we can now confirm that it will be arriving – along with a Limited Edition Switch bundle – on November 2.
The console bundle will include a Switch console and dock, both featuring artwork from Diablo 3, along with a custom carrying case and a code for Diablo 3: Eternal Collection. You can check out the details in the trailer, above.
The Diablo 3: Eternal Collection includes the original Diablo 3 game, along with its subsequent expansions, Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer. Additionally, Switch players will enjoy exclusive in-game bonuses, including a variety of items from The Legend of Zelda series, a Ganondorf Transmog Armor, a companion Cucco pet, and a Golden Triforce Portrait Frame.
The launch of the Diablo 3 Switch bundle – as well as the game – coincides with the Opening Ceremony of this year’s BlizzCon. With fans of Diablo anxious for news about a possible fourth instalment in the series, this appears to be more than just coincidence. Or maybe it’s just wishful thinking.
Either way, we’ll find out on November 2.
