The full game is discounted on PS4 for a limited time too.
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr‘s Season One content patch, “Drukhari,” has arrived on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can watch the launch trailer, above.
The free content patch sees the addition of a new enemy faction, known as the Dark Eldar, an ancient race that are both cruel and terrifying. Players will be introduced to the Dark Eldar over the course of three new investigations and will also gain access to a new “Tier II subsector” with five additional systems to explore. Additionally, the update sees the level cap increase from 50 to 70. Players keen to jump into the new content will need to speak with Ragna on the Command bridge to start the Investigation.
Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor — Martyr was launched earlier this year on PC, with the console release arriving shortly after. Likened to Diablo 3 for its playstyle and looks, Inquisitor – Martyr hasn’t enjoyed quite the level of popularity as its Blizzard counterpart, receiving “mixed” reviews on Steam. Still, our Stu quite liked it and, as this is the first of several planned “Season” updates, it seems that quite a few others do too.
If you’ve been thinking about giving it a go, now might be the time – up until November 21, PlayStation 4 owners will get 25% off Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor — Martyr, while PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to snap up a 50% discount.
Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
