How does that sound?

Peter Connelly, music man extraordinaire and best known for his work on the Tomb Raider series, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to recreate the soundtracks from the classic Tomb Raider titles.

The campaign focuses on the music from Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and of course, The Angel of Darkness. The campaign won’t just dust off the original scores and sell them back to us – we hope anyway – but instead, the original soundtracks will be reimagined both in sound and the design of the music thanks to techniques that weren’t available during the development of each game.

Connelly is bringing in some notable figures for the project, with Dr Richard Niles joining as an orchestrator while Martin Iveson, who has worked on all Tomb Raider games, joins as a musician and composer, and Julie Elven – who has worked on music for Horizon Zero Dawn, World of Warcraft, and more, joins as a vocalist.

The campaign runs until December 3, 2018, and has already secured more than half of its £60,000 goal. You can see the additional stretch goals and contribute to the project here if you fancy it.
