Cyanide Studio’s gaming adaptation of Chaosium’s tabletop RPG, Call of Cthulhu, is proving to be quite a critical success. Cyanide Studio and Focus Home Interactive have released a new trailer showing the warm reception various press outlet has been giving to Call of Cthulhu.
Inspired by Lovecraftian Old Gods and other cosmic horrors, Call of Cthulhu tells the story of investigator Edward Pierce as he investigates the mysterious and tragic deaths of the Hawkins family. PLayers will come across locals from Darkwater Island; some of which will be helpful while others will do everything in their power to make sure you fail at your investigation.
As Pierce, players will face both mortal and ghostly adversaries on his path to find the truth bridging the lines of sanity and madness ever so closer. Stealth and Pierce’s extensive skillset as an investigator may be his only hope to escape the gaze of the Great Dreamer.
