Blizzard has announced the first Overwatch Cosplay Battle Competition, where teams from around the world will compete against each other for some cosplay themed prizes.
Teams from the UK, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, and Russia all feature some of the top cosplayers from those countries, who will showcase their skills by creating one costume each over the course of three months. Once those costumes are completed an official jury made up of Blizzard artists and cosplay professionals will select a Grand Prize winner from the six completed costumes.
Each member of the Grand Prize-winning team, selected by the jury, will receive a brand-new 3D printer and 3D printing materials worth €2,500. Members of the Community Favorite team, selected by Overwatch players across Europe, will receive some framed Overwatch artwork signed by the Overwatch development team.
