Bluehole’s battle royale extraordinaire, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has finally been confirmed for a PlayStation release, with the title set to launch on December 7. The news shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, as leaks were spotted a couple of months ago showing an age-rating for a PS4 version of PUBG.
Sony players will also get a couple of exclusive items for the game to celebrate the arrival of PUBG to the PS4, with some tools from Unchartered and The Last of Us making their way into the storm.
There’s also a couple of pre-order bonuses for the game, with players able to pick up progress experience a little quicker. The PS4 version will launch with three maps available in Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok.
PUBG recently became part of the Xbox Game Pass service before it was announced that the game would be arriving for the PS4 on December 7.
There aren’t any details yet as to whether PUBG will offer cross-play a service for PS4 players.
