Pooh-Bear joins the Kingdom Hearts family.
Square Enix has released a new trailer announcing that the beloved children’s classic Winnie the Pooh will be joining the cast of Kingdom Hearts 3.
Sora joins Pooh and his friends Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, Roo, and Owl and helps him to save the 100 Acre Wood through a series of mini-games – let’s hope one of them is Pooh-sticks!
Oddly, the trailer only gives us a brief glimpse of Winnie the Pooh and the mini-games that you’ll need to complete in order to turn the 100 Acre Wood back to normal. But as well as the Winnie the Pooh keyblade, the trailer also features Captain Jack Sparrow and Rapunzel as well as Chirithy from Union X[Cross] and the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.
Fans have waited for 12 long years for the sequel of Kingdom Hearts 2, which released in 2006 (EU) on the PlayStation 2. A number of worlds have been announced for the upcoming title, including Monsters Inc., Pirates of the Caribean, Big Hero 6, and Tangled. Last week, some of the actors that will be voicing some of the game’s characters were also revealed.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is set for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019.
