505 Games and Hello Games have announced that a free new update, “Visions,” is heading to No Man’s Sky tomorrow.
The Visions update will bring a whole host of changes as millions of previously dead planets are now full of life. The trailer (below) details the new features, including collectable Exploration Trophies, new creatures and plants, and rainbows, all in a “reimagined colour palette.”
The update will improve the diversity of planet surfaces and introduce mysterious artefacts that can be collected as trophies. You’ll also need to keep an eye out for the “predatory fauna and deadly flora” that inhabit these worlds. You’ll be able to salvage parts from fallen satellites but even then, care will be needed to avoid the corrupted sentinel drones that patrol nearby. You can check out the full details of the Visions update here.
No Man’s Sky is no stranger to updates, receiving a big update back in July that saw the introduction of multiplayer, along with various other tweaks, as well as the Abyss update as recently as last month.
No Man’s Sky is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
