Twitter user ‘@illogicalMods’ has spotted some Red Dead Redemption 2 updates.
With the Beta for Red Dead Redemption 2’s online component kicking off today for purchasers of the Ultimate Edition, there is some other interesting news that has popped up. Twitter user illogicalMods has spotted some Red Dead Redemption 2 updates from a little jiggery-pokery on the Rockstar Social Club’s Website.
Posting the screenshots on their Twitter account, there are lists of different maps and modes that look to be available soon for Red Dead Redemption 2 online.

Although the words ‘Battle Royale’ have not been mentioned, one of the modes sounds distinctly like the usual ruleset for what we currently associate with Battle Royale games. Titled ‘Make it Count, Bow and Arrow, Saint-Denis Plantation’ the update lists that players will be armed with only a bow and some arrows, as well as having a decreasing play area to force players to encounter each other.
“A true test of resourcefulness: use nothing but a bow and a handful of arrows to be the last one standing. With a gradually shrinking player area, there’s nowhere to run.”
So it looks like Red Dead Redemption will be joining the other big AAA games like Call of Duty and Battlefield 5 in introducing a Battle Royale mode, but with RDR2 taking a more stone-age approach with the weapons. We will be keeping our eyes peeled for more news regarding what’s in store for RDR2 online.
Thanks, PCGamesN.
