Ubisoft has announced that The Crew 2 is free to play from today until December 16 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Great news if you’ve been looking for an excuse to get out of doing the Christmas shopping, this weekend.
The free weekend will give players the chance to try out everything the game has to offer, including the new Demolition Derby and PvP mode that was added at the beginning of the month. You can check out the trailer, below:
As is usually the case, any progress you make during the free play will be carried over if you decide to go ahead and purchase the game. And if you are tempted, you’ll be treated to up to 67% off both standard and special editions, as well as 30% off the Season Pass on all digital stores until December 20.
Players who choose to participate in the free weekend will also receive a free vehicle, depending on their platform of choice. Xbox One players will get a BMW Z4 GT3 2011, PlayStation 4 will nab a Maserati Gran Turismo S 2009 – Touring Car Edition, while PC players will receive a Ford GT 2005 – Touring Car Edition.
