Hitman 2 Holiday Hoarders is live once again

IO Interactive has been hard at work like the festive little elves they are, and along with new Elusive Target in Santa Fortuna, we’ve also got a Christmas themed hit to carry out – hooray!

Returning from Hitman 2016, the Holiday Hoarders hit will see you taking out the Wet Bandit duo, or y’know, the two burglurs from Home Alone. That’s right, you’ll get the chance to off the bandits in a reworked Paris level from Hitman 2016, where you’ll have a host of opportunities to murder them and even steal yourself a Santa suit if you know where to look. It’s a great little homage to the iconic film and a delightful way to spend your Christmas, so make sure you get involved after t=you take out The Revolutionary Elusice Target.

Zero Gets a Deserved Nerf in Black Ops 4’s Latest Update

The latest hero in Black ops 4, Zero, has received a much needed nerf in time for her arrival to Xbox One and PC versions of the game. Zero had been live on PS4 for a week thanks to the Sony deal with Activision and in that time she earned herself the reputation of being one of – if not the – most overpowered hero in the Call of Duty franchise.

The issue stemmed from Zero’s ability to hack into other player’s killstreaks and healing properties. Essentially, Zero can hack a player and steal an Attack Helicopter after having not killed a single player.Professional players had agreed not to use Zero in matchesas a way to keep ranked matches as balanced as possible.

But after the latest update, Zero has undergone a fairly sizeable change to how she operates. The headline change is that Zero’s hacking ability takes longer to activate while hacks on killstreaks require more time to complete. You can see a full list of Zero’s changes below and the complete list of patch notes here.

  • Increased amount of time it takes to earn the Ice Pick.
  • Increased time required to hack UAV, Care Package, and Counter UAV.
  • Greatly increased time required to hack Sentry, Drone Squad, Sniper’s Nest, Mantis, Thresher, Attack Chopper, and Gunship.
  • Increased time required to hack Torque’s Barricade.
  • Hacking an enemy no longer prevents their healing cooldown.
  • Hacking an enemy Assault Pack now causes it to expire.

The Walking Dead’s Final Season Will Be an Epic Store Exclusive (Sort Of)

PC players who are planning on picking up the last couple of episodes of Skybound Games’ The Walking Dead will only be able to pick it up from Epic’s new digital store.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season

Well, that’s sort of the case. If you already bought a season pass for the game, you’ll still be able to pick up the final two episodes from wherever you bought the game from.

The next chapter of The Walking Dead will arrive on January 13 and will be the first installment of The Walking Dead to be released since being taken over by Skybound after the mass Telltale redundancies and eventual closure.

Well, that’s it for the Weekly News Roundups in 2018, we hope you’ve enjoyed reading them and look forward to bringing you more next year!
