Blowfish Studios has announced that NX Games’ latest project, JackQuest: Tale of the Sword, will be available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 24 2019. The upcoming platformer will available for $9.99/€9.99/£8.99.

JackQuest: Tale of the Sword is a fast-paced action platformer where the titular hero, Jack, embarks on a mission to save his beloved Nara from the orc Korg. The latter kidnapped her and has hidden into his subterranean lair.

Thankfully, Jack will have some help in his mission in the form of Kuro, a spirit imprisoned in an enchanted blade. The game features a bevvy of environmental puzzles, power-ups/special abilities and a handful of additional weapon. Players can also expect impressive boss fights on their way to Korg.

The game is tailored for both completionists and speedrunners.
