Dark Zones and Conflict await those brave enough to enter into multiplayer.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 from Ubisoft has released a new multiplayer trailer that shows off the Dark Zones and Conflict modes that will be available at launch. Further to that, there is some info about new modes that will become available later in The Division 2’s life-cycle.

One of the main takeaways from the trailer are the changes to the Dark Zone compared to what existed in the original Division. There are now three Dark Zones placed around the world map, and they are smaller in comparison.

The smaller Dark Zone areas combined with the lowering of players in each instance (24 down to 12) should help to make Dark Zones more frantic and full of action and conflict. I personally remember running around the old Dark Zone in the original Division and not encountering anybody, due to it’s sheer size.
