What are you playing?

Each week we’ll give you the low-down on the games that have been keeping the GGS Gamer staff busy on their consoles, PCs and handhelds.

Here’s what we’re playing this week …

Jay

  • Bury me, my Love (Switch): This game truly surprised me and you can find out my impressions in my review!
  • Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ (PS3): I sold my PS4 to put towards my Kingdom Hearts 3 PS4 Pro bundle. So, I’m back to my PS3 but I’m craving KH3 so back to KH2 and try and snag that platinum before KH3.

Dan

  • Digital Devil Saga (PS2/3): Now that I’m done with SMT3: Nocturne, I figured I’d give this game another run. Haven’t played it since….2006 I’d say? Nevertheless, awesome RPG, awesome soundtrack. Also gonna try to see if there are side quests I might’ve missed way back when.
  • Unreal Tournament (PS3): Big dumb fun; a few rounds with bots puts a nice smile on my face.
  • Dead Space (XB1): So I had originally played this in 2009 on PS3, but since my fat PS3 died and Sony patched an update that stops us from using the hard drive into another console, my saves are currently in limbo, so I’d figure I’d replay it now. I forgot everything about it and already crapped my pants a few times.

John

  • Katana ZERO (PC): Feels like I’ve been spending the last few days doing nothing but trying to get people to hear about this game. I’m having a lot of fun with it and you can read more in our preview.
  • Pikiniku (PC): Same kind of vibe to Night in the Woods with its writing and I’ve loved just dossing about in the game and just having a look about to see what’s going on.
  • Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (PS4): Still working through Ven’s story so I might be pushing it to have the game finished by the time Kingdom Hearts 3 releases next week (sad face).

Sarah

  • The Elder Scrolls Online (PC): Haven’t played as much of this as I’d like. This last week has been insanely hectic, but I’m putting a level in, here and there.
  • Diablo 3 (PC): It’s Season 16 and I really don’t need much more of a reason to level up a new character.
  • Sky Force Reloaded (XB1): It’s bizarre that I find this game so fun but I can’t seem to put it down. Well, I obviously do to go and play ESO and D3, but it’s so easy to just pick up and play a level or two when you have a spare five minutes.

How about you?
