It looks so real.

A new live-action trailer for the Resident Evil 2 Remake has been released by Capcom and it’s an absolute banger. Showing off a real life Leon and Claire as they stagger around Raccoon City as zombies move in is an absolute delight to watch, see for yourself with the handy video below.

Created by SpecialGun Productions, the latest trailer stands as a homage to the origianl Resident Evil 2 live-action trailer by George A. Romero (Dawn of the Dead director) back in 1998. Though this new take manages to capture that new found vulnerability in both characters, well, that’s my take anyway.

It’s the latest in a string of live-action trailers we’ve seen pop up in recent years, with Fallout 76, Far Cry 5, and Dishonored 2 just a few other titles that managed to put together some decent takes on the live-action front.

Resident Evil 2 Remake lands on PS4, XBox One, and PC on January 25 and should provide a fairly terrifying weekend for everyone who plays it.
