Can your PC run 4A Games’ latest project?

Deep Silver and 4A Games released the required specs for players who will be picking up Metro Exodus for PC. Thanks to the scalability of the 4A Engine, the game will be enjoyable on entry-level hardware, but enthusiasts will be able to push the most recent video cards to the limit.

Minimum specs required:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8 or 10
  • CPU: Intel Core I5-4440 or equivalent
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Geoforce GTX 670, Geoforce GTX 1050 or AMD RADEON HD
  • 7870 VRAM: 2 GB
  • DirectX: 11 or 12

Recommended specs required:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core I7-4770K or equivalent
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Geoforce GTX 1070, Geoforce RTX 2060 or AMD RX VEGA 56
  • VRAM: 8 GB
  • DirectX: 12

High specs:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core I7-8700K or equivalent
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: Geoforce GTX 1080 Ti, Geoforce RTX 2070 or AMD RX VEGA
  • 64 VRAM: 8 GB
  • DirectX: 12

Extreme specs:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core I9-9900K or equivalent
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: Geoforce RTX 2080 Ti
  • VRAM: 11 GB
  • DirectX: 12

Those who will run the game with the minimum configuration on Windows 7 will require at least SP1. For Windows 8, build 9200 or higher is required. Windows 8.1 will at least need build 9600. For Windows 10 users, build 1809 is mandatory along with DirectX 12 for RTX features.

The game will also support ray-traced global illumination on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX series. Expect 4A to release GeForce RTX-specific performance shortly.

Metro Exodus will be available on February 15 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
