What are you up to, Vince!?
Story update (02/02/2019, 20:17) Apex Legends is indeed a free-to-play battle royale game and it’s available right now. The gameplay shown suggests it’s very much squad-based, with players forming parties of three. There are eight characters to choose from, each with their own special ability, and Respawn has confirmed that Apex Legends will contain seasons, similar to what we’ve seen from Fortnite.
You can pick the game up on PC, PS4, and XBox One for free right now.
Respawn has announced a new game called Apex Legends, and we’ll be getting a first look at it later today. The Titanfall developer announced the game about as casually as when the studio’s boss, Vince Zampella, rocked up to EA’s E3 show to discuss the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Looks like everything is unlocked now? Fun.
